Asian products charm US buyers
at 2nd Kenfair Asian expo Las Vegas
(Hong Kong, 6 August 2004)
Kenfair (U.S.A.) Limited ("Kenfair U.S.A."), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Hong Kong's leading and renowned trade exhibition
organizer, Kenfair International (Holdings) Limited ("Kenfair
International", or with its subsidiaries, "the Group"), today
announced that the 2nd edition of its flagship trade fair,
Kenfair Asian expo ("the expo"), will be held on 17 – 19 August
2004 at Bayside B of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las
Vegas, Nevada, the United States.
The expo, the only Asian-exclusive
showcase on American soil, will open between 10:00am and 5:00pm
daily and feature a comprehensive range of top-notched toys,
gifts, premium and household products from 586 Asian manufacturers
in 617 booths, representing amazing increases of 45% and 44%
respectively when compared to the acclaimed inauguration of
the expo in 2003.
The maiden Kenfair Asian expo
was launched in August 2003 as a part of the Group's strategic
vision to act as a gateway to achieve business opportunities
for Asian manufacturers and international buyers. It attracted
about 6,600 buyers, a majority of whom from the U.S., and
housed over 400 manufacturers from all over Asia in 430 booths.
This year, Kenfair International
has confirmed the participation of various Asian-based manufacturers,
like those from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore,
India, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh,
Nepal and Malaysia.
Mr. Herbert Ip, Chairman of
Kenfair International, said, "The participation of manufacturers
from such a wide-spectrum of Asian nations is testimonial
to the success of the Kenfair Asian expo, and its prominent
position as the leading trade event exclusive for Asian products
in the United States."
Furthermore, the most inventive
manufacturers from Asia, mainly from Hong Kong, Mainland China,
Taiwan and Thailand will showcase their cutting-edge designed
goods at the Asian Product Design Gallery, a bonus feature
at the expo aimed at promoting these ground-breaking products
to an international audience.

will be treated to the latest wide selection of high-quality
but reasonably-priced Asian made products. By visiting the
Kenfair Asian expo, which is strategically timed to coincide
with similar trade fairs in the region, buyers will get the

furthered Mr. Ip.
Mr. Duncan Cheung, Managing
Director of Kenfair International, said, "Most importantly,
the Kenfair Asian expo is the only trade show in the United

offers from Asian manufacturers as they do not need to travel
distantly to Asia. Moreover, the host city, Las Vegas, is
hailed as a terrific summer holiday destination that allows
a perfect blend of business and leisure."

At this year's expo, buyers
will be offered a complimentary special supplementary issue
of MegAsia, Kenfair International's bi-annual trade magazine.
Mr. Ip commented, "MegAsia
began in October 2002 to help maximize business opportunities
for Asian manufacturers and international buyers. Published
annually in every February and October, the magazine not only
covers industry news, product trends, trade show information
and in-depth company interviews but also contains several
hundred pages of manufacturers' advertisements in each jam-packed
issue. To accommodate the ever-increasing demand for this
premier trade publication, a special supplementary issue has
been published this July. It will be freely available at the
expo, and I strongly encourage buyers to make good use of
it to keep abreast of the latest news in toys, gifts, premium
and household products industries."

flagship event, ASIANA - Mega Show Part Two, will follow the
successful October Shows, which is termed as Mega Show Part
One, to serve as a continuation of trading platform for toys,
gifts, premium and household products in Hong Kong.
The Group's first overseas
trade exhibition is the Asia Expo in London ("Asia Expo").
Exclusively reserved for Asian-made toys, gifts, premium and
household products, Asia Expo is the largest trade show of
its kind in Europe. Asia Expo made its debut in 2001, and
it is the 2nd annual show of Kenfair International that is
endorsed as a UFI-approved event.
It is the above successful
experience that incubates Kenfair Asian expo, Las Vegas, which
made its debut in August 2003. The maiden event brought 404
Asian manufacturers of toys, gifts, premium and household
products to 6,698 buyers mainly from the Americas.
