Regalflora Artificial Flower Manufactory

Making artificial flowers that bloom authentic charms

With the trend that people are spending more time at home with their families, it is no surprise that home decoration items are becoming increasingly popular and in great demand. Artificial flowers are especially desirable these days because they serve as a great alternative to real flowers which are short-lived and requiring constant care and maintenance. From giveaways to seasonal decorations for special occasions, artificial flowers – in all types and colours – are seen as a must-have in today’s living.

A specialist in the artificial flower production for almost 4 decades, Regalflora Artificial Flower Manufactory is a typical manufacturer-exporter from Hong Kong. “Our business was founded in Hong Kong in 1965 before we relocated our operation and manufacturing to Shenzhen, China,” said Joive Tong, manager of Regalflora.

As its business began to grow in the 80s, Regalflora realised that its existing facilities and manpower were no longer able to cater for the increasing production requirement. The company decided to purchase more machineries and equipments. “We understood that this move did us long-term good as we felt optimistic about our expansion and steady growth,” Miss Tong said while strolling down the memory lane of her company. After another major expansion plan years later, Regalflora now has two factories in Shenzhen and one in Dongguan, China - staffed with up to 1,200 dedicated, skilled workers. Together, their production capacity has grown to a whopping 25 x 40 ft containers per month.

Regalflora stops at nothing to produce the finest artificial flowers in all shapes, colours and sizes. The major categories include: wild flowers, tropical plants, greenery and Christmas decorations. These flowers, made of different kinds of polyester and plastic, can be configured into a bouquet, a certain style of basket arrangement for weddings or special occasions, as well as general home decorations.

“Just like real flowers, artificial flowers with a natural touch are just as flexible and versatile,” said Miss Tong, elaborating on Regalflora’s diverse product range. “Everyone can basically mix to create any unique combinations that match their tastes. Of course, artificial flowers come with another advantage in that they do not require much maintenance and care. They are really terrific fuss-free home decorations.”

Regalflora’s artificial flowers have been highly popular with flower lovers from Europe, the US, South America and the Middle East. “Serving these customers from different countries and cultures surely has been an interesting and eye-opening experience for us,” Miss Tong said with a smile. “We have come to learn that European customers tend to prefer wild roses, while those from the Middle-East greatly appreciate multi-head flower bouquets. Japanese customers, on the other hand, are generally big fans of petite-size flower arrangements.”

Out of its wide product range, Regalflora has a few signature pieces that capture most customers’ hearts. “While artificial flowers for various occasions are always the most popular, our most sought after flowers at the moment are those sold around Christmas time,” Miss Tong said as she introduced the company’s latest bestseller: Holly Leaves and Berries - Christmas Tree and Wreath. “This exciting collection aims to bring more joy and holiday spirit to the homes during the Christmas season. It is all the fine work created by our creative, artistic designers.”

It takes more than just supplying quality products for a supplier to stay ahead in the artificial flower market. “We take the ever-changing trend in today’s consumer market a huge factor in moving our business strategies,” Miss Tong pointed out. “We monitor closely every market reaction to our collections. Meanwhile, we also need to roll out new products made with different materials to keep our existing customers interested and potential ones intrigued.”

In addition to that, efficient and knowledgeable before and after sales service ranks high in Regalflora’s priority. “As a supplier valuing close relationships with customers worldwide, it is crucial for us to be updated on our products and everything that relates to it. Above all, these are not just artificial flowers – they constitute a lifestyle that encompasses fine living and all things beautiful,” Miss Tong expressed her passion for her flowers.

With 45 years of flower-making experience and wisdom, Regalflora has in recent years become one of the leading artificial flower suppliers known by many in the market. “In coming years, we will continue to nurture and foster our relationship with existing customers, while reaching out to recruit new customers for our products or possible partnership,” concluded Miss Tong.
