The New Delhi summer, which lasts from July to September, is generally very humid as monsoons heavily affect the city. During winter months, namely December and January, New Delhi is rather cool, especially during the evenings.

Getting Around New Delhi

Yellow and black taxis are available in New Delhi, but most luxurious hotels operate their own taxis, with slightly higher charges. Hiring a car with a driver is advisable as the traffic takes some getting used to.
